Your LIHE Journey Continues

As a LIHE graduate, you remain part of our community. Discover the opportunities, connections and support available to you beyond graduation, stay connected with the people and community you've built here, and return to LIHE when you're ready to take your next step.

Once a graduate, always LIHE

You Join The Moment You Graduate

Every student who completes a LIHE course becomes part of the alumni community automatically. There is no fee and nothing to sign up for — your student record is your membership.

  • Your records, for life

Academic transcripts, replacement testamurs and graduate verification for employers all come from the Registrar — the same office that held your record while you studied.

  • A door back into study

Coming back for another course means applying to people who already know your record. Talk to admissions before you apply — they can tell you what your prior study counts for.

  • Industry on your doorstep

LIHE sits in the middle of Parramatta's business district. Alumni are welcome at the industry events and guest lectures we run on campus, alongside current students.

  • Support that doesn't switch off

Student Services can still point you to the right person — for a reference request, a question about your record, or a former lecturer you would like to reach.

This is what LIHE offers today. The community is young, and it will grow with each graduating cohort — tell us what would be useful to you.

Graduation

From Final Results To Your Testamur

Graduation is the last thing LIHE does for you as a student and the first thing it does for you as a graduate. This is how it runs.

  1. Results are released

Final results come out at the end of each intake's exam period. The dates for your intake are in the Academic Calendar.

  2. Completion is confirmed

Once every unit is passed and your fees are settled, the Registrar confirms you have met the course requirements and your award is conferred.

  3. Your documents are issued

You receive a testamur and a full academic transcript. Keep both safe — replacements come from the Registrar, and employers may ask to verify them.

  4. The ceremony

Graduation ceremonies are announced to graduating students by email, with the date, the venue and how to register guests.
