Whether you're applying from Australia or from overseas, you'll study to the same academic standards, learn alongside the same diverse student community and experience the same LIHE campus in Parramatta. The difference is simply in the application process and documentation required.
Applying from outside Australia, or already here on another visa.
LIHE is a CRICOS-registered provider (04342A) and both of its courses are CRICOS-registered, so each can be studied on a student visa. Your Confirmation of Enrolment is issued once you accept an offer.
Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens.
No English test is needed where your previous study was in English. Fees are paid per semester, before you select your subjects.
What you can study
An undergraduate degree with three specialisations, and a one-year graduate diploma. Each course page carries the full structure, units and fees.
A 3-year undergraduate business degree built around real industry practice and a shared first-year core.
Specialisations
An ACECQA-approved one-year diploma that prepares you to support children from birth to five.

How it works
The path is short and we walk it with you. Pick the one that applies to you to see the steps in order.
For students applying from outside Australia, or on another visa.
You will need to meet both the academic requirements for your course and LIHE's English language requirements.
Submit the application form with your academic transcripts, English test results and a certified copy of your passport. Our team can review your documents before you send them.
Accept your Letter of Offer and settle the required payment. We then issue your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), the document your visa application is built on.
With your CoE and Overseas Student Health Cover in place, lodge a Student Visa (subclass 500) with the Department of Home Affairs.
