Bachelor of Business Administration – General

Keep your options open — the full business core, then units chosen from across accounting, information systems and hospitality.

  • Duration: 3 Years Full-Time
  • Mode: On-Campus
  • Campus: Parramatta, Sydney

Overview

General BBA is the broad way through the Bachelor of Business Administration. Instead of majoring in one field, you complete the same business core as every other BBA student and then build the rest of your degree from units across the specialisations — accounting, information systems and hospitality management.

It suits students who want a well-rounded business qualification, who are still deciding where their career is heading, or who plan to work in roles that touch finance, technology and customers all at once. You graduate with the same Bachelor of Business Administration, without narrowing it to a single major.

What You'll Learn

Business Core

Accounting, marketing, law, management and organisational behaviour — the foundation every BBA student shares.

Accounting & Finance

Draw on accounting units to read, prepare and analyse financial information.

Information Systems

Draw on IS units to understand the systems and data organisations run on.

Hospitality & Service

Draw on hospitality units for operations, guest experience and events.

Your Learning Experience

You start where every BBA student starts, with a first year of core business units. From there you choose units from across the majors, guided by the Course Director, so your degree follows your interests instead of a fixed sequence.
